GROUPING GUIDELINES
1. IS 16011 covers the following varieties of Aluminium and Aluminium Alloy Foils for Pharmaceutical Packaging: a. Bare Blister Pack Foil b. Coated Blister Pack Foil c. Bare Pharma Strip Pack Foil d. Pharma Laminate 2. Samples of highest and lowest Nominal Thickness of each variety must be tested to cover entire range of nominal thickness. Separate samples of each type of delivery condition (As rolled/annealed etc.), coating/lamination shall be tested. Sample of any width may be tested.
3. While considering grant of licence/ inclusion of new varieties, it shall be ensured that the firm has necessary manufacturing and testing facilities for all the varieties proposed to be covered under the scope of BIS Certification.
4. During the operation of licence, BOs shall ensure testing of different varieties covered in the licence in rotation, so that all varieties are tested over a period of time. 

GROUPING GUIDELINES
1) IS 1254:2007 covers the requirements of Corrugated Aluminum Sheet for General Purpose, Industrial, Building and High Stiffness Industrial Use.
2) These sheets shall be manufactured from sheets in alloy and temper conforming toalloy19000 H4 or 31000 H4 or 31500 H4 or 40800 H4 or 51300 H4 as specified in IS 737.
3) In view of above, the following Grouping Guidelines shall be considered for the purposeof GoL/CSoL
4) Scope of the licence shall be restricted based on the manufacturing and testingcapabilities.
5) During the operation of the licence, samples of each variety covered in the licenceshall bedrawn and tested in rotation, to the extent possible

GROUPING GUIDELINES
For Grant of Licence (GoL)/Change in Scope of Licence (CSoL), the following grouping guidelines shall apply
i) In case of forging stock, samples of any form/type (billets, bars, rods or sections) and size may be tested to cover the forms/type and sizes of forging stock being manufactured, in the scope.
ii) In case of forgings, sample of each forging intended to be covered in the scope of the licence shall be tested. Each forging duly identified by Drawing No. and Date shall be endorsed in the
scope of licence and the Copy of drawing of each forging duly signed and sealed by the firm’s authorized representative shall also be a part of the licence scope Scope shall be restricted based on the manufacturing and testing facilities available. During operation of licence, all varieties covered in the scope of licence shall be tested in rotation, to the extent possible

Licence is granted to use Standard Mark as per IS 2414:2005 with the following scope: “Cycle tyre and/or Rickshaw tyre, Heavy duty (Type A)/Standard duty (Type B), Material of tyre cord _______, wired edge/beaded edge, Sizes ________” 

Grouping Guidelines
1. The parameters as given below shall be considered for grouping of Cycle and Rickshaw Pneumatic Tyres as per IS 2414:2005 for GoL/CSoL:
(a) Type of Tyres: Type A – Heavy duty tyres Type B – Standard duty tyres.
(b) Material of tyre cord: Grey cotton yarn or Polyamide yarn/Nylon fabric
(c) Wired edge or Beaded edge
2. The Firm shall declare the varieties of Tyres intended to be covered in the Licence.
3. Tyres of any size from each Type, Material of cord and Edge shall be tested to cover all sizes in that particular group.
4. The Scope of Licence may be restricted based on the Manufacturing and Testing capabilities of the Manufacturer.
5. During the operation of the Licence, BO shall ensure that all the varieties covered in the Licence are tested in rotation, to the extent possible.
